Weekend Visitor's List

The Florida Gators are ready for the home opener and so are many of the top high school football players from not only the 2011 class but 2012.

Most of the committed players in the state will be on hand this weekend as the Gators host Miami (OH), including five-star quarterback Jeff Driskel. Driskel, a 6-4, 225-pound gunslinger from Ovideo (FL) Hagerty will make the trip up with his mother and girlfriend.

Hunter Joyer, a 5-11, 245-pound fullback, will be in attendance from Tampa (FL) Catholic.

One of the most dynamic playmakers in America will also watch as the Gators kick off the season. Wide receiver Javares McRoy from Lakeland (FL) will make the drive up early Saturday morning. Lakeland will host Venice and 2012 superstar Omari Phillips. Phillips, a 6-6, 275-pound OL/DL will also pay a visit to The Swamp this Saturday.

Linebacker Ryan Shazier from Plantation will join his fellow commitments this weekend. Shazier is the No. 8 ranked outside linebacker and checks in at 6-3 and 210 pounds.

Kelvin Taylor, a 2013 standout running back, will make his way back up to The Swamp, a place where father Fred Taylor used to dominate.

Two more special playmakers in the class of 2012 that are scheduled to attend this weekend are both wide receivers. Chris Black, a 5-11, 180-pound speed merchant from Jacksonville (FL) First Coast, is coming up with his entire family. Angelo Jean-Louis is another fantastic looking prospect from Wellington (FL) Palm Beach Central.

Nick Waisome from Groveland (FL) Southlake and Pop Saunders from Deland (FL) are both scheduled to attend this weekend's contest.

Current 2012 commitment wide receiver Latroy Pittman also may attend the game on Saturday.

There will be tons of football prospects in town this weekend for the game but these are a few to get to know moving forward.
