Columbia High School, Lake City, Fla.

Recruiting: Jernigan reported a top five in July with Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Michigan all in the running for his signature. The No. 1 defensive tackle in the country does not have a time-frame for a decision.

Jadeveon Clowney – 6-5/235 – DE
South Pointe High School, Rock Hill, S.C.:

Recruiting: The No. 1 recruit in the country with scholarship offers from coast-to-coast has Alabama and South Carolina as his top two schoola. Clowney plans to take all five official visits before announcing a decision.

Plant High School, Tampa, Fla.:

Recruiting: Committed to Florida State. Wilder committed to the Seminoles in late August with a host of schools across the country vying for his signature. The Gators and UGA Bulldogs were in the final three for the future running back in Tallahassee.

Jeff Driskel – 6-4/225 – QB
Hagerty High School, Ovideo, Fla.

Recruiting: Committed to Florida. Driskel decided to stay in the Sunshine State when he announced his decision in April. "I'm a big, tall quarterback who is fast and can make plays in the pocket. I can run too, and I feel like I can make any throw. I can do pro-style or the spread, and I'm really versatile."

Isaiah Crowell – 6-0/210 – RB
Carver High School, Columbus, Ga.

Week 1: The Tigers defeated Spencer 63-0. Crowell had touchdown runs of 21, 14, and 30 with total offensive yardage of 136 yards in the first half of play. FULL ARTICLE HERE

Recruiting: Uncommitted. The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will battle for the signature for one of the Peach State's best. Georgia holds the lead heading into Crowell's senior season. He is in no rush to make a decision. Florida State and Clemson are likely to receive official visits as well.

Sammy Watkins – 6-1/180 – WR
South Fort Myers High School, Fla.

Recruiting: Uncommitted. Watkins named a top three in July consisting of Clemson, Miami and Michigan. Florida and Tennessee also remain in the mix for his signature. He does not plan to announce a decision anytime soon.

Nick O'Leary – 6-4/230 – TE
Dwyer High School, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Dwyer lost to Cleveland Glenville 26-22, with a couple of controversial calls not going Dwyer's way, in the Kirk Herbstreit Classic on ESPN. O'Leary finished the game with nine receptions for 152 yards. FULL ARTICLE

Dorman High School, Spartanburg, S.C.

O. Perry Walker will go on the road this Friday to face Helen Cox.

The Chargers named a new head coach, Emanuel Powell, who is returning to his alma mater. Powell played at O. Perry Walker in the '80s.

Northwestern High School, Miami, Fla.

Mike Bellamy – 5-10/175 – RB
Charlotte High School, Punta Gorda, Fla.
