Florida RB sets BCS visit

Jerron Seymour is a standout running back prospect from Hialeah High and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Jerron Seymour talked about how his senior season's been going.

"It has been going good, it has been going well. Just recently we had a bye week. We started off a little slow, we are trying to get our chemistry together. We are getting better week by week. Right now I am at 300 yards in 3 games. I am starting off a little slower than last year but things are gonna pick up down the line as the o-line gets better so I am looking forward down the stretch."

Seymour, 5-foot-6 and 170 pounds, talked about the latest in recruiting.

"Cincinnati, Kansas State, FIU, Memphis, Tennessee, a couple others have been calling me," he said. "I recently set up a visit to Cincinnati on December 4th when they play Pitt. Me and coach talked about setting up a visit to Marshall soon. I am trying to fit it in the schedule."

In addition to those unofficial visits, Seymour has a few unofficials in mind.

"I am going to a Florida game on October 16th. I got a game invite to Marshall and I am pretty excited about that. I am going with some other people to Marshall game. I am going with our coach, cornerback who committed to Marshall and our receiver Craig Wilkins."

No one jumps out to Seymour right now.

"Right now they are all equal because I haven't taken any visits or discussed it with my parents. So I am open right now."

The standout RB prospect, who claims a 2.5 GPA, talked about what he's looking for in a school.

"Where ever the best fit for me is where I want to be at. Great academics with a high graduation rate, is the first thing I am looking for. Second is how comfortable I will be at their school. The relationship with the coaches, if I will be comfortable there for four or five years."
