2012 OL likes Miami

Danny Isidora has emerged as one of the top junior offensive line prospects in Broward County and he has interest in Miami. Read on to see what he's saying about the Canes and more.

Danny Isidora talked about how his junior season's been going.

"Our season has been going pretty good. We have some fresh players who have been stepping it up. Our record now is 5 and 1."

Isidora, 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds, took in a recent Miami game and talked about that.

"I went to a UM game the other week," he said. "I went to the Florida State/Miami game. I thought it was pretty cool atmosphere and everything. I thought Miami could have won. All we did was went on the sidelines and watched the players warm up, that was pretty cool."

Isadora says he was surprised at the outcome of the game.

"Miami should prepare better during the week, they might have taking Florida State lightly."

The standout lineman, who claims a 2.7 GPA and reports no test score yet, said he likes Miami but hasn't spoken to the UM coaches yet.

"I haven't talked to any coach from Miami. I think their program is really good for all the stuff they are offering. I like them. Growing up I watched the Gators a lot, too."

Isidora, who says no one has offered yet, talked about what he's looking for in a school.

"I am looking for a good sport medicine program. I am thinking I want to stay close to home, it could be out of state as long as it is close."
