Florida DB still getting interest

Spencer Waseem is a standout DB prospect from Apopka and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Spencer Waseem talked about his senior season.

"The season is going real good, nobody has really come my way much."

Waseem, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, committed to Washington State early in the process and remains that way.

"Washington State is good. They called me the other day and we talked, everything is still good. I took my official in the middle of October. It had a good environment, good coaches and that's basically it."

Despite the commitment, Waseem is still considering a few others who are showing interest.

"I am considering Wake Forest, Michigan, Michigan State and that's about it. I don't know if I am taking any more visits."

The standout cornerback, who claims a 2.7 and an SAT re-take, took in a WSU game recently.

"I've already seen the USC game, the atmosphere was good, USC is a good team. Washington State so far is playing good."
