Name Brent Calloway
School: Russellville (Ala.) High School
Position: Running Back/Linebacker
Size: 6-foot-3, 227-pounds Rank: Four-star, No. 6 Outside Linebacker
Recruitment: Alabama commitment Live Evaluation: Recruiting analysts pay close attention to players who are on the borderline of National 100 status during their senior campaign to determine if the prospect has improved and can carry the label. Alabama commitment Brent Calloway is having a monster senior season, but he has spent the majority of time on the offensive side of the ball. He is expected to see more action on defense when needed in the playoffs. He has been posting big numbers each week and teams are having a very tough time trying to stop the elite back.

Calloway is one of the most athletic players in the country. He has great speed and vision. He breaks tackles and can make plays in the open field. The sky is the limit for Calloway who is expected to play on the defensive side of the ball on the next level. He has become a lot more physical from last year and is tough to bring down on first contact. He has all the physical tools you look for in an athlete: size, speed, athletic ability and a football mentality.

Calloway is a solid student and an even better person off the field. He will have an opportunity to impress even more when he competes in the U.S. Army All-American game in January.
