5-star LB Wallace enjoys USC visit

Dallas (TX) Skyline linebacker Anthony Wallace took his second official visit this past weekend when he traveled to Los Angeles to watch the USC Trojans host the Oregon Ducks. The 6-foot, 220-pound blue-chip defender walked away impressed from his visit but was it enough to put the Trojans on top for his services?

Anthony Wallace made his way to Southern California this past weekend to watch USC host Oregon on his second official visit. He got a chance to see how the Trojans do things as well as get a good feel for the campus and the game atmosphere.

"I learned a lot and had a lot of fun during the visit. My favorite part was going to the team meetings because you can see how the team prepares for a game," said Wallace.

The 5-star defender also got a chance to sit down and talk with the Trojans coaching staff to better see how he would fit into their defense.

"I got along great with the coaches. I spoke mostly with coach Joe Barry (linebackers coach) and he told me how they are really in need for linebackers right now. We also talked about how I would fit into their defense because they run a similar defense to the one my high school runs now."

Wallace had a great time during his USC visit, but was it enough to put the Trojans on top for his services?

"I like USC a lot, they have a lot of tradition and are a linebacker U school. The only thing I didn't like is how they are in trouble and can't play in bowl games and stuff. They are up there for me but Oregon is still my top school."

Wallace plans on checking out Ohio State, Arkansas and Oklahoma for his three remaining official visits.

Wallace is Scout.com's number six-ranked linebacker in the nation.
