UGA commit may take visits

Nathan Theus is a standout line prospect from The Bolles School and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Nathan Theus talked about his senior season.

"It is going good, we are undefeated. I am playing center. We are playing Olympia, they are a big 6A school out of Orlando. It should let us know where we are at."

Theus, 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds, committed over the summer to Georgia and remains that way. However, a few others are still involved.

"I am for sure taking an official to Georgia. I might go to FSU, Arkansas, and South Carolina," he said. "All three of them offered me, so that was the first thing. FSU and South Carolina are pretty close. All of those teams are successful this year and are winning. Arkansas just offered me and it was a late offer. There is not much I don't like about any of those schools."

So how strong is that commitment?

"Georgia, it is 100 percent, I just gotta keep my options open in case something happens before February, I definitely have to have a number two school waiting. I felt comfortable at Georgia though. It is a nice place. I like the people there."

The standout lineman, who claims a 2.5 GPA and no test yet, talked about the UGA game yesterday.

"They had a good game yesterday. I am going to the Auburn game, it is going to be a good game. I am also going to the game against Georgia Tech which is also going to be really good."
