Carter Schedules Second Visit

Coffeyville Community College wide receiver Duron Carter has scheduled a second visit, Scout.com has learned. Carter, who earlier scheduled a visit to Oregon, will take a trip to LSU in two weeks for the game against Mississippi. Bill Greene has the latest on Carter.

Former Ohio State and current Coffeyville Community College wide receiver Duron Carter has scheduled his second visit, to LSU. Carter earlier scheduled a visit to Oregon, and is also considering trips to USC and Oklahoma.

Carter, a freshman starter at Ohio State where he caught 13 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown, is also considering a return to the Buckeyes. He was ruled ineligible for the 2010 Rose Bowl, subsequently leaving Ohio State in June.

Carter, now 6-foot-4, 210-pounds, will be eligible to play in 2011, and will have two years of eligibility remaining, to be completed in three years. He was a four-star recruit coming out of St, Thomas Aquinas, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He will be visiting LSU in two weeks for their game with Mississippi, then will head to Oregon the following week, when the Ducks face Arizona.
