"I'm scheduled to visit Northwestern on December 3, Utah on December 10 and Kansas on January 21. I haven't figured out where I want to take the other two but I hope to figure it out soon," said Carson.
The three-star prospect holds a laundry list of scholarship offers. Louisville, Memphis, Minnesota, New Mexico, Northwestern, Kansas, Tulsa, ULM, Utah and Wyoming are all schools that have thrown their hats into the ring. Two other major programs could also be close to offering.
"Oregon and Arkansas are both recruiting me right now. I talked to the Oregon coaches on Friday and they told me that I am on top of their recruiting board. They are going to come see me play next week. The Arkansas coaches call me every week and tell me that they like me as a player."
Carson has yet to narrow things down and plans to wait until his senior season is over.
He has registered an impressive 1,964 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns on the season and hopes to continue his success into the postseason.
"I'm really trying to stay focused with the playoffs coming up. It's important not to get caught up in the hype, I'm going to try and do whatever I can to help me team win state."
Carson claims to be looking for a school that has a winning tradition and a good family atmosphere.
Liberty-Eylau takes on Gilmer this week in the first round of the postseason.
