Stitt showed composure throwing against Syracuse commit Jaston George and Richmond commit Mylon Blueford as he completed 17 of 23 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns. He not only proved he has an accurate arm but also quick feet as he scampered a crucial one in on 4th and 4 from the 8-yard line in the third quarter to make the score 23-13.
For the season, Stitt is now completing 63.4 percent of his passes, much to the credit of playmakers Demetrious Nicholson and Anthony Cooper, he says.
Cooper is also a name to know for Bayside. The junior wide receiver and cornerback came in with 11 career touchdowns of 40-yards or more. Cooper came up big on defense against Oscar Smith with 10 tackles, an interception in the first half, and returning an onside kick for a touchdown at the end of the game.
