Four Visits Set for Sigler

Devaunte Sigler has plenty of options. Schools from all over the southeast have been in touch with the talented defensive end and several of them have come through with an offer. Now that the season is over, Sigler is getting more serious about his college decision. College coaches have already had some face time with Sigler and his mother and four of them have secured a date for an official visit

"Yesterday I talked LSU and Mississippi State and Auburn is coming tonight," said Sigler. "Coach Dubose from Memphis came in too and I talked with him for a while."

Devaunte reports that his conversations with each coach have been pretty similar.

"Mainly we talked about the cities they are in and they talked to my mom a little bit," said Sigler. "My mom had some questions about what all I would be doing and questions about my classes and things like that."

The four programs who have made the effort to spend some time with Devaunte this week will soon be hosting the Ben C. Rain standout officially.

"I have set up a visit with Auburn for the 18th of this month," said Sigler. "I go to Memphis on the 7th of January and then Mississippi State on the 14th, 15th and 16th and then LSU on the 21st."

The talented defensive end reports that the recruiting process is fun, but it can be rather taxing and confusing.

"My mom and my uncle are talking with me about everything," said Devaunte. "It is going to be my decision, but by family tells me to pick the place where I feel like I fit in and feel the most comfortable with the coaches."

Sigler is eager, but not anxious about the selection process and he is not in a huge hurry to shut things down.

"I will probably take all of my visits, but I don't know," said Devaunte. "I might make a verbal commitment before I take all of them.

"Right now I have a top three of Auburn, LSU and Mississippi State. I really like the SEC schools."
