Mouhon Picks Cincy

Norcross, Ga., product Silverberry Mouhon had narrowed his list of schools down to Syracuse and Cincinnati recently and on his official visit to see the Bearcats this weekend he decided that he had seen all that he needed to, giving them his verbal pledge.

Silverberry Mouhon, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound defensive end from Norcross High School verbally committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats on Sunday.

"I committed to Cincinnati today," Mouhon stated. "I went up for my official visit this weekend and the players and coaches were like a family. They made me feel really comfortable and they were just really open with me. That's definitely where I want to be for the next four or five years."

"I was talking to the players about the coaches and they said that the coaches always want the best for you and they always keep track of you in school," Mouhon said. "The players are also really honest with each other and make sure to stay on each other. I really liked that and got a great vibe from them."

"The coaches said there is a chance that I can get some early playing time, but that I need to get in the weight room and get bigger early. They just want me to work hard and keep getting bigger."

As a senior, Mouhon finished with 80 tackles, 11 sacks and a defensive touchdown.
