QB Kevin Yost from Glendale (Az.) Community College received his first scholarship offer from Idaho State, committed on the visit and made it official today when he signed his letter of intent with the Big sky program.
Yost comments, "I committed because of the new coaches. They are great coaches and proven winners and I felt that me and the OC, Coach Bailey, got along really well. It is just a great opportunity and I couldn't pass it up."
Yost (6-1 195) helped the Gauchos to a 7-4 record and #15 finish in the NJCAA polls. He passed for 2,444 yards and threw 15 TDs versus 9 INTs. He also rushed for 5 scores.
After his sophomore year, Yost was named 1st team All-ACCAC and 2nd team All-WSFL.
The Glendale Mt. Ridge product is a midyear transfer and will have three years to play two for the Bengals.
