2013 Running Back One to Watch

Making a name for himself early with college coaches, Deveon Smith of Warren Howland High School in Ohio has several school showing early interest. Irish Eyes has sophomore highlights of Smith in action to see why many Midwest college program are excited about Smith's ability.

After having a solid freshman season, Deveon Smith (Warren, Ohio) Howland High School looked to have another solid season to build upon his resume. Not only did Smith have a solid year, his team finished with a perfect 10-0 record earning a berth in the Ohio playoffs.

Notre Dame should get a good chance to watch Smith during his junior season as they are taking hard looks at his teammate Anthony Stanko (Offensive Line) in the Class of 2012.

Smith is the younger brother of Lance Smith who signed with Wisconsin before transferring to Memphis in the fall of 2008.

Count Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and Notre Dame among the teams taking early looks at the 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back.

Here are highlights from this past season of a running back many feel could be Ohio's best running back in the Class of 2013.
