Decision Thursday

Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic defensive end Brennan Scarlett is making his decision Thursday morning. The list of schools include California, Notre Dame, Stanford, USC, and UCLA...

Brennan Scarlett broke down the five finalists with's Brandon Huffman last week at U.S. Army All-American Bowl festivities.

Notre Dame: "I love Notre Dame's tradition and I think that Brian Kelly will turn the program around as it is right now. I think they'll be real successful in the future."

California: "It's a good program and they have a great coaching staff. I get along really well with them and think they'll be good again real soon."

Stanford: "The academics are the biggest piece there. Their academics are second to none and that is big to my family. They had a great season."

USC: "I love that they're consistently good on the football field. It being a private school also stands out. I don't think that their troubles will affect them much."

UCLA: "I think that Coach Neuheisel will be able to turn things around. I love the area that it's in and I loved my trip up there."
