Fisher Updates Recruiting

Scout.com talked with 2011 prospect Larenzo Fisher from Friendship Collegiate High School in Washington D.C. The talented defensive back is up to five FBS offers and still receiving interest.

Larenzo Fisher has been busy since his season ended. He has received five offers from FBS schools and has been hearing from a couple others. He takes the time to update his current recruiting status.

"I received my latest offer from Ohio," said Fisher. "I already went for a visit and I really loved it. I like the players and the coaches. The campus was real nice as well. I had a lot of fun while I was there."

Aside from continuing to receive offers, Fisher is still receiving strong interest from other schools too.

"With Ohio offering I now have them, Eastern Michigan, Temple, New Mexico and Buffalo. I am also hearing from Pittsburgh and Indiana a lot."

Fisher is hoping to take a couple more trips here before signing day but nothing is set yet.

"I want to get to Buffalo but I'm not sure about the trip yet. I want to get there because they have shown me a lot of interest so I want to see what the campus is like. I have to talk with my coach and set something up still."

If he doesn't take another trip he could decide and make a commitment to a school by next week.

"I may decide by next week if nothing else comes up like additional visits or if a new school offers. If that happens I will talk to my coach about it and decide what is best to do then."

Fisher also has offers from Towson and Massachusetts. He went to UMass and really liked the campus there as well.
