Knight Picks Up Major Big 12 Offer

San Antonio Reagan quarterback Trevor Knight is often thought of as one of the best signal-callers in the state of Texas for the 2012 class. Now, he has the offer to show it.

On a junior day visit in College Station, the junior quarterback picked up an offer from a Big 12 team.

"I got offered by Texas A&M," wrote Knight. "I'm pumped.

Knight threw for over 1600 yards last season and 11 touchdowns. The junior as also a major threat to run the ball, collecting almost 900 yards on the ground, finding the end zone 10 times.

Knight is considered to be one of the favorites to land a Texas offer later this month. According to sources, the Longhorns have set their sights on Knight, Klein Forest's Matt Davis, and Arizona product Connor Brewer.
