No Rest For Poole

Fresh off an official visit to Miami, Antonio Poole flew back home to Cincinnati, where he entertained Pittsburgh head coach Todd Graham for an in-home visit Sunday night. How did things go with the new staff? Scout.com has the latest on the Pitt in-home with Poole.

Things are getting hectic for both coaches and recruits as the countdown to National Signing Day has begun, but for Cincinnati Winton Woods star linebacker Antonio Poole there is no rest from the recruiting frenzy.

Poole spent the past weekend on an official visit to Miami, flew home late Sunday afternoon to Cincinnati, then hosted new Pittsburgh head Todd Graham for an in-home visit hours after arriving home.

"It's pretty crazy, but I have to get things figured out in a hurry," Poole stated Sunday evening. "I'm pretty tired, but it was great meeting Coach Graham tonight. They sent four coaches, and we had a great conversation, and I think a lot of Coach Graham."

Poole only has one weekend left to take his last official visit, and he will decide between Pitt and Michigan, with the Wolverine staff taking their shot Monday night in the Poole household.

"It was great being with the Pitt head coach face to face," Poole admitted. "I am still going to meet with Michigan tomorrow, but I'm strongly leaning towards Pitt right now. I really like the new Pitt staff, and the energy they bring."

Tomorrow, Poole will not only meet with the new Michigan staff in his home, but he is also expecting a phone call from Miami assistant coach Mike Barrow, who promised to let the four-star linebacker know if the Hurricanes were going to issue an offer.

Poole stated earlier that an offer from Miami would be huge, while he is also strongly considering Kentucky. He also said either Pittsburgh or Michigan would be eliminated in another day or so, as he decides which school to officially visit this coming weekend.

Scout.com will continue to monitor the recruitment of this star linebacker, and will update the status of his recruitment as circumstances dictate.
