Taylor Gadbois: A Man of His Word

Both Al Golden and Mark Richt stopped by East Paulding to check on Taylor Gadbois and the Hurricane coach had to like what he heard.

"I am a man of my word and I said I was a Miami Hurricane before and I will officially be one on Signing Day," said Taylor Gadbois.

Georgia offered Gadbois on Sunday morning around 8:30am and he was thinking about the Dawgs and how Athens is a little closer to home than Coral Gables, but in the end, he stuck with the school he originally committed to.

"I did think about it, but after meeting with Coach Golden this morning, I knew I was sticking Miami. I told Coach Richt that when he visited me today and he respected me for sticking to my word. He was a little down about my decision because he wanted me, but he respected me."

Gadbois is a 6-foot-7, 285 pound offensive tackle out of Dallas (GA) East Paulding and his dream to be a Hurricane and he is excited about February 2.

"I am not thinking about anyone else. The Georgia offer was nice, but I am a Cane and nothing can change the way I feel about them. I have always wanted to go to Miami, I have the chance to now, and I am going to be there in the future. Al Golden is a great coach and I am excited about my decision."
