In 2010, Taylor rushed the football 170 times, for 1224 yards (7.2 yards/attempt), and 22 TDs. The talented junior also caught 4 passes, for 162 yards (40.4 yards/reception), and 2 TDs.
Through three seasons at Diboll, Taylor has rushed for 2779 yards on 431 carries (6.45 yards/carry), and 39 TDs. In addition, Taylor has 12 career receptions, for 255 yards, and 2 TDs.
Taylor is one of the top RBs in the state of Texas, and has drawn recruiting interest from Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Missouri, among others. He is still awaiting his first offer.
Missouri recently invited the junior RB to attend its Junior Day, but Taylor said that he "wasn't able to make it". He said that he'd like to visit Missouri soon, to "see what it's like".
Taylor's considering attending one of Missouri's camps. He reports a 36" vertical jump, and a maximum bench press of 340 pounds. He talked about his interest level in Missouri.
"I like Missouri," said Taylor. "I'd like to go there and see it."
"I don't have a favorite," said Taylor, although it's clear that he likes Texas A&M, as well as Missouri and Oklahoma.
