Ehasz has found his future home

Matt Ehasz has been talking to a number of schools and after all the talk, he came to a conclusion today on where he will be playing college football.

"Matt Ehasz committed to Georgia State today," said his father Jeffery Ehasz. "Matt committed to Coach French and he will be preferred walk on with Georgia State and report in July. Coach Curry will scholarship him in Fall. He will compete for starting position."

The 5-foot-11, 160 pound kicker has been practically automatic with extra points over the last two season. He finished 64-64 in 2010 and 54-57 in 2009. He was 11-12 in field goals this season with a long of 42. He has connected from 54 yards in a live scrimmage. He has also has 46 touchbacks over the last two seasons. All of his kicks have been off of the one inch tee.

Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Troy among others have all been in contact with the Ehasz family over the past couple of months.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
