In-State Defensive End Signs With AU

Defensive end Keymiya Harrell has signed scholarship papers to play for the 2010 national football champion Auburn Tigers.

Position/Scout Ranking: Keymiya Harrell, 6-5, 238, Dallas County High, Plantersville, Ala., three stars, ranked as the No. 62 defensive end prospect in the country.

Auburn's Main Competition: Harrell chose the Tigers over Tennessee and Mississippi State.

Why Auburn Signed Him: An in-state prospect with excellent size and plenty of potential, Harrell is an athletic performer who has the chance to blossom in Auburn's strength and conditioning program.

Worth Noting: Also an outstanding basketball player, he is probably good enough to play college basketball. Harrell played in the NUC All-World Classic sll-star football game in January.
