Da'Quan Davis, a 5-foot-11, 160-pound cornerback from Calvert Hall (Baltimore, Md.), is leaving West Virginia's junior day with a big offer.
"I am very excited. I love the atmosphere down here. I love the facilities. They are top of the line. And I really love the campus. I am staying today for the basketball game."
Davis racked up over 40 tackles, picked off four passes, and helped Calvert Hall earn its first Metro Interscholastic Athletic Association A-Conference title this season. He also left a big impression at the US Army All-American Combines. Connecticut, Marshall, Maryland, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Temple, Vanderbilt and Virginia are showing him interest.
