Braglio Talks Maryland Decision contacted 2012 prospect Roman Braglio from McDonogh High School in Hyattsville, MD. The talented defensive end ended his recruiting and committed to the Terps. talked with Roman Braglio to discuss his decision to accepted a verbal offer to play for Maryland.

"I went back there and got to spend a lot of time with Offensive Line Coach Greg Gattuso," said Braglio. I finally got a chance to be around the coaches. The more I spent time with them and got to know them I knew it was where I wanted to be. Coach Gattuso spent time hanging out and watching film with me. After a few hours I committed to him before I left. He was really excited which made me feel good. He was so excited he lifted me up and carried me into Coach Edsall's office to tell him. Their reaction made me feel good about how much they wanted me and were excited about me committing to Maryland."

Braglio is a big framed prospect that could find himself at a couple different positions.

"They recruited me as a defensive end so that is where I will be or at least start out there."

Braglio was just starting to really gain serious interest from several schools. He had his other offer from West Virginia and there is no doubt there would have been many more had he not committed this early. So is he done with the process and any future visits?

"Yeah I'm done. I won't take any visits. I am very happy with how things are with Maryland and I am just excited to move on with things."
