Here is what you need to know about these guys:
Prospect: Brad Butler: 6-3/204 - Quarterback - Rome (GA) Darlington
Simmons Says: Butler is a very smart quarterback with a lot of game experience under his belt. He has started for two years at Darlington and he understands the game as much as most seniors. He makes quick decisions, he has good mobility outside the pocket, and he has shown good accuracy in camps I have watched him at. He has a nice delivery. The biggest area he can still improve on is his arm strength.
Prospect: Josh Cardiello: 6-3.5/283 - Offensive Guard - Buford (GA) Buford
Simmons Says: Cardiello is a guy I named as a top 2013 prospect back in early August of 2010. He is a very sound offensive lineman with good technique, nice punch, and good drive off the ball. He takes the man in front of him and drives him backwards. He plays tackle at Buford, but will move to the inside on the next level. He has good feet, he is strong, and he will be able to pull and to get to the second level.
Prospect: Shamire Devine: 6-6/2340 - Offensive Tackle - East Point (GA) Tri-Cities
Simmons Says: Devine is an imposing young man because of his size, but that is not the only reason he dominated at the Atlanta MVP Camp Saturday. He has very good feet, he uses his hands well, and did a nice job of mirroring the defensive lineman he went against. He stoned a number of DLs on Saturday. He still has to get stronger and work on his technique in pass protection, but he has it. He will be a top prospect in 2013. He has good feet, long arms, and the frame you look for in an offensive tackle.
Prospect: Reuben Foster: 6-1/223 - Linebacker - Lagrange (GA) Troup County
Simmons Says: Foster is a do-it-all linebacker. After watching the game tape of Troup County-Carver (Columbus) in 2009 and seeing Foster track down Isaiah Crowell in the backfield, it was easy to see this young man had talent. He is constantly around the football, he attacks the ball carrier, he has great instincts, he plays sideline to sideline, and he has speed. I have said numerous times in 2010 and early in 2011 that Foster may be the best linebacker in Georgia right now and he still has tow more years of high school left. This young man is special.
