Duron Carter is a standout wide receiver who is also the son of legendary NFL receiver Cris Carter. The elite prospect, along with his mother and father, arrived in Tuscaloosa on Friday. They will spend time visiting the campus and coaches the next couple of days. They plan to stay until Sunday, and it's possible a decision will take place before leaving the Tide's campus.
The 6-foot-4.5, 215-pound prospect left Ohio State after the spring in 2010 due to academic reasons. He spent a semester at Coffeyville Community College, Kansas, and now attends Palm Beach Community College in Fla. Carter was not expected to graduate until December, but is now set to graduate in May.
Carter is eligible to play football this fall. Alabama is the only school he is scheduled to visit. Carter started five games as a true freshman for the Buckeyes before missing the Rose Bowl against Oregon due to academics.
Kwon Alexander, five-star linebacker from Oxford, Ala., and teammate cornerback Trae Elston, will visit the Tide on Saturday. Alexander and Elston have more than 20 scholarship offers including Alabama. Alexander does not list any favorites at this time. Elston currently favors Auburn, Clemson and LSU.
Bradley Bozeman, a 2013 offensive tackle from Roanoka-Handley, Ala., is receiving interest from schools across the country. He grew up an Alabama fan, but also has a high interest in Auburn.
