Auburn offers first

Auburn just had this lineman on their campus recently and they became the first to offer him a scholarship on Thursday April 14.

"Auburn has offered me," Bradley Bozeman told Scout around 4:30pm ET Thursday afternoon. "I called up there to talk to Coach Lolley and he told me about the offer."

Bozeman is a 6-foot-4, 318 pound offensive lineman out of Roanoke (AL) Handley in the class of 2013 and Scout expects him to be highly recruited.

He recently visited Auburn and here is what he had to say about his time on the plains.

"I was really impressed. It was one of my best visits up there. I went in and talked to some of the coaches one on one, I saw the practice, and it was a really cool visit. It is all great there to me."

The Tigers are first to offer this sophomore and he almost go emotional when he received the news.

"This almost made me want to break down and cry because I know I have done what I have set out to accomplish," he said. "It just makes me want to work extra hard now."

Expect more programs to offer Bozeman in 2011.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
