Brown names a leader

Who is now on top of Beniquez Brown? Find out what he told Scout right here.

"I was at Alabama on Saturday and they now hold a slight lead," said Beniquez Brown. "They are really showing me that I am a priority for them and I have a good relationship with the coaches. I am also comfortable down there."

Entering this visit to Tuscaloosa, Brown had the Crimson Tide in his top two with Auburn.

Brown is a 6-foot-2, 202 pound athlete that Scout projects as an outside linebacker. Some schools like him there while others talk to him about playing safety or running back. He is a top 10 prospect in Alabama and he plays for Florence High School.

Chad Simmons started out with Scout in 2003 covering top talent in Georgia and other areas in the South. He then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become Southeast Recruiting Manager.
