Blue Gaining Steam Going Into Spring
Jawand Blue says he's always loved Miami.
"I grew up a Cane fan."
Blue has verbal offers from Mississippi and Virginia Tech. After those offers came in, he says things have been a little slow.
"It's going alright just at a bit of a stand still as far as new offers."
Even so, Blue is expecting a few more offers to come his way soon. He lists schools that are showing interest and will come see him when spring practice starts.
"So far Nebraska, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami, Vanderbilt, ECU, Purdue, Maryland and Wisconsin are what I know of right now. They will come watch me play."
Blue says he's recently been in contact with three schools in particular.
"I'm liking Virginia Tech, Florida and Miami. Only Virginia Tech has offered of those three but I think Miami could be the next from them. I'm talking to coach Franklin a lot."
As expected, a Miami offer would be like music in Blue's ears.
