Syracuse Offers Kerrick

Kyle Kerrick is a very talented athlete from Coatesville, Pa., who is being recruited at both wide receiver and safety and today Syracuse let him know that they want him as part of their defensive secondary for this recruiting class.

Kyle Kerrick, a 6-foot-2.5, 185-pound wide receiver from Coatesville Area High School in Coatesville, Pa., had a visitor from Syracuse at his school today and added another offer from the Orange to go with what he already has from West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Temple.

"Syracuse stopped by the school today and offered," Kerrick stated. "A coach came in and spoke to me very briefly and told me that they want me to play safety for them there."

"I watched them play Rutgers last year and they beat them. They were a physical team on defense and were talented. I've seen the movie The Express, so I know about the talented players and the tradition they've had at Syracuse."

"At this point I just need to actually get in contact with the coaches and learn more about them," Kerrick explained. "Today they had to follow the rules just like any other school, so I didn't get to ask questions that I'd like to, so I hope I can talk to them here at some point."

As a junior, Kerrick caught 30 passes for 510 yards and 11 touchdowns.
