Justin Moody, a 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive tackle from George Washington High School in Philadelphia, Pa., caught up with us on Wednesday to talk about his first offer.
"I'm excited about the offer and I'm probably going to call Coach (Brian) Angelichio tomorrow as I have homework tonight," Moody said. "It was a big surprise to me as I have never heard from them before. I don't know much about Rutgers, but I've seen them play before."
"They have a good football program and I like the way their defense plays," Moody added. "I watched their defensive ends and their defensive tackles play and I like their 4-3, attacking style that they do play."
As a sophomore, Moody had 20 tackles for loss, eight sacks and one interception.
