Dillon Makes His Choice

El Cajon (Calif.) Christian quarterback Shane Dillon makes his decision and is headed to play in the Pac-12...

El Cajon (Calif.) Christian quarterback Shane Dillon continued the recent spate of quarterback commitments out West, becoming the fourth Scout 300 quarterback from the region to make his college choice in the last two weeks.

"Shane just committed to Colorado," said his quarterback coach, George Whitfield.

Dillon follows Travis Wilson (Utah), Jeff Lindquist (Washington) and Bart Houston (Wisconsin) in committing from out of the West in the last two weeks, signaling the annual domino effect of quarterback commits that the West usually experiences each year.

He visited Colorado in April and was offered by the Buffs coaching staff that month.

Dillon threw for 2,978 yards on 206-for-388 passing, with 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions as a 2010 junior at Christian.

He's been selected to the 2011 Cal State Game.
