Washington's waiting for first offer

Who will be the first to offer Corey Washington? He is hearing from a number of schools and is eager to see who offers first.

"I am hearing from Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, Utah, Louisiana Tech, and Florida International the most," said Corey Washington. "None of them have offered me yet, but I think Arkansas, Alabama, and Louisiana Tech could be close."

Picking up that first offer is important to Washington and it is something he thinks about often.

"I want some offers bad. I know I have to get one before I can get anymore, so I want that first one. I am trying to be patient because I know it will come. I talk to coaches all the time and they tell me they love my film, so we will see. I know I will get some offers."

The 6-foot-4, 208 pound wide receiver out of Georgia Military College had 19 receptions for 295 yards and five touchdowns for Bert Williams and the Bulldogs in 2010.

Washington feels he has what college coaches are looking for.

"I have good size, I have really improved my hands since being at GMC, and I run the 40 yard dash in 4.49 seconds," he said. "I have gotten a lot better since being at GMC and I am just more consistent all around."

The wide receiver originally out of South Carolina is willing to look at any school that offers him, but right now, he does have a top five.

"I like Alabama, Oregon, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee."
