Isaac Rochell has seen quite a few college coaches stop by his school to evaluate him. "I had four coaches come by my school today. Kentucky just offered me and that has brought my total to six after Virginia Tech offered me about a month ago. Right now I have offers from Kentucky, Wake Forest, Troy, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, and Boston College."
Georgia Tech is another school that has been giving Isaac a lot of interest. "Coach Speed from Georgia Tech was here just last week. He told my coach that they are very interested in me and that they are keeping an eye on me. He asked my coach if I had gotten bigger because it looked like I had to him. I am up to 240 pounds now from offseason workouts and plan on getting bigger and stronger as I go through my junior and senior years."
Clemson was another school that stopped by to see Rochell. "Their defensive line coach stopped by and told my coach that the wanted me to attend their camp this summer and I plan on doing that."
Not all the schools recruiting Isaac are recruiting him at the same position. "Boston College has offered me as linebacker but all the other schools that have either offered me or are recruiting me at as a defensive end."
If Rochell had to chose one of those two positions, he would prefer playing defensive end. "This year at ELCA I will also play some tight end and fullback so in addition to linebacker and defensive end I will have those two positions for schools to look at in my recruitment."
Even though it's still very early in his recruitment, Isaac has two schools that he favors right now. "Right now Ole Miss and Virginia Tech are my top teams because they have offered. That can easily change as more and more offers roll in for me."
One of those schools may be Georgia Tech. "They are one of the schools that I like a lot and am very interested in. I like Coach Speed a lot and I know Coach Groh is one of the best as far as defensive coaches go and I could learn a lot from him."
