Chris Sailer Kicking recently wrapped up its national spring kicking and punting camp tour, which culminated with the 9th Annual National Kicking & Snapping Spring Event in Las Vegas.  After coaching and evaluating over 400 specialists at regional camps across the country, the best of the best came to Las Vegas in hopes of proving themselves on a national scale.  The large event, sponsored by Nike, attracted hundreds of the nations top prospects.  The Event saw players participate from Alaska and Hawaii all the way to Florida and international players from Sweden and Canada.  The talent was perhaps the best of all time and pressure was immense.  Many stepped up and the results will land dozens of specialists coveted scholarships to big time D1 programs.

Best Overall Class of 2012 Prospect:  TRAVIS COONS (Mount SAC JC – CA) – Travis is the best combo prospect in the nation.  His field goal, kickoff, and punting skills are all at the D1A scholarship level.  He is an incredibly gifted athlete that has the technique, strength, and mental toughness to excel at the next level.  He has 55-yard field goal range with great height.  His kickoffs average over 70 yards with over 4.0 second hang time.  And he has the ability to hit 50-yard punts with over 5.0 second hang time.  It a rare that a kicker/punter this polished and college ready is available to college coaches.  Offer Now!!!

Best Class of 2012 Kicking Prospect:  ADAM GRIFFITH (Calhoun H.S. – GA) – Already committed to Alabama.  Adam may be the most talented kicker that I have ever seen.  He has big time leg and hits an absolutely huge ball.  His field goals come off his foot like a rocket.  His kickoffs are tops in the nation.  Adam hit one wind-aided kickoff 90 plus yards with 4.40 second hang time.  No one can match his talent.  A fine athlete that will surely be one of the best college football kickers for years to come.

Best Class of 2012 Punting Prospect:  KEN KESTER (Foothill JC – CA) – Ken proved that he is more than capable of being a dominating college punter.  He has a big time leg and punts with incredible consistency.  He dominated the punting competitions start to finish.  Ken averaged over 50 yards while hitting several ball 60 plus yards.  He consistently hit above 4.5 seconds hang time and hit several ball over 5.0 seconds.  Ken is a big time D1A punting prospect ready to step in and start anywhere. 

Next Best 3:  Osborn Umeh (Mayfield H.S. – CA), Jeff Dickerson (Lodi H.S. – CA), & Korey Durkee (Gig Harbor H.S. – WA)

Best Underclassmen Kicking/Punting Prospect: DAVID PETRONI (Buford H.S. – GA) – David was a men amongst boys in the underclassmen divisions.  He won the kickoff and punting competitions and came in second in field goals.  David is a big time talent that is currently ranked #1 in the nation as both a kicker and punter in the Class of 2013.  A bright future awaits this incredibly talented prospect.
