6-foot-2, 225 pound junior Luke Roberts is not only great in the classroom, having a 4.3 GPA, but also powerful on the football field, recording 23 tackles for losses last season. The middle linebacker holds offers from Indiana, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Kent State and just picked up another one from Ohio.
"I like that it is really close to home. I also have a former teammate there."
Even though the school is only 45 minutes from Roberts, he hasn't actually visited yet. So, he is looking forward to doing that and learning more about the school. The junior also admits that the offer came as a bit of a surprise.
"A coach had visited earlier this spring, but I hadn't spoken to them since that visit."
When asked if he had ranked the schools in any order, he said he needs to visit all of them first.
This summer, the junior plans on attending camps at Duke, Purdue, Ohio State, Cincinnati and Michigan State.
