Larry Hope camped at Miami Sunday morning, was offered Sunday evening, and committed last night. Read on to see everything he's saying.

Larry Hope went to Miami's camp this past Sunday hoping to showcase his skills to the coaches enough for an offer. Mission accomplished. He landed an offer Sunday evening and it only took a few days for him to pull the trigger.

"I committed to Miami yesterday. I just thought it was the best choice for me and my family. I felt very comfortable and I also looked at how many players they put into then NFL, DB wise. It was the best fit for me."

Hope, 6-feet and 160 pounds, talked about how he committed.

"I called the coach and told him I'd like to be a part of the family. I committed to Coach Golden. He was real happy and everything."

The standout cornerback prospect, who finished his junior season with 46 tackles and three picks, talked about the direction of the Miami program under Golden.

"Everything is going the right way. It's a big family bond and that's what I wanted."

Hope committed to Miami while also holding BCS offers from schools like West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Kansas. Recruited like a three-star prospect, Hope said he's unsure if he'll take any more visits.

"Right now, I'm still keeping it open but I'm completely committed to Miami," he said. "I'm a Cane and that's where I wanna be."
