Lee's a versatile athlete

Jabo Lee is a versatile athlete that can do a lot on the football field. That has helped him gain an early offer and draw attention from other top programs.

"I have played running back, slot receiver, defensive back, and special teams, so I can do a lot on the field," said Jabo Lee. "My strengths are speed, agility, and strength. I am stronger than people think, so that surprises some. I think I could play a few different positions in college."

Schools still have time to figure out where they want him to play. He is now a junior with two seasons to play on the high school level before signing with a school in February 2013.

Some schools are already showing strong interest.

"East Carolina offered me first and they like me as a running back. Virginia Tech has offered me as an athlete and I have talked to Georgia a lot too. Clemson, South Carolina, and North Carolina State are showing me some attention now too."

The 5-foot-10, 182 pound athlete out of Dillon, S.C. listed Virginia Tech number one, Georgia number two, and East Carolina number three when asked about favorites.

He doesn't plan on committing to anyone any time soon though.

"I will probably wait things out, take some visits, and see what schools offer me before committing," said the junior that had over 1,500 yards of total offense in 2010. "I am not in any hurry to make a decision."
