Do you currently have an offer from Oregon?
"Yeah I have an offer from Oregon."
What has the contact been like between you and Oregon since the recruiting process started for you?
"Me and coach Don Pellum, we talk just about everyday. I give him a call maybe twice a week and we message and communicate on Facebook and e-mail, so I talk to Oregon a lot."
Has coach Pellum been the only coach from Oregon that you've been in contact with?
What is your overall interest in Oregon at this point?
"Very high. I have a very high interest in Oregon."
What is it about the school that has you so interested?
"I mean they played for the national championship last year, I think they've only lost four games in the last three years, so you know you're walking in to a winning program with Oregon."
In your conversations with coach Pellum, has he talked to you about getting you to Eugene for a visit?
"It's difficult for me to make a visit, but coach Pellum said that I'm one of the top linebackers for them to get, so he said when I get around to taking my official visits that I should come out."
How would you describe yourself as a player?
"I'm a tough, nasty, vicious player. I love to hit."
Is there a guy at the collegiate or professional level that you try to pattern your game after at all?
"I'm versatile. I say I play exactly like Terrell Suggs or Ray Lewis, like maybe both of them. I like Terrell Suggs cause he's a versatile player and he's a big guy. He can run, cover in space, play linebacker or defensive end -- not saying I play defensive end -- but I think our game is the same...Patrick Willis also."
What are some of the big things you're looking for in a program?
"I'm looking for a stable program. Like I said, Oregon is a program that's trying to win, so somewhere where I can go play early and a great environment where I can live for four years."
Have you given any thought as to what you might want to study when you get to college?
"No, I'm unsure right now. Maybe something in the law field like criminal justice or something."
What are some of the offers that you currently hold from other schools?
"Some of the big ones are: Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Oregon, Vanderbilt, Illinois...there's a lot of big schools."
Do you have a top five or a favorites list at this point?
"I have no favorites right now. I like any school that just shows a lot of want and that I communicate a lot with, so that's what I'm looking for."
As far as camps and unofficial visits go, where have you been and where do you plan on going this summer?
"I've been to Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota and Northern Illinois. I've been there so far and I'm not planning on going to any camps. This summer, I'm unsure right now, but I want to see some Big Ten schools because I live in a Big Ten area, so I'll see some Big Ten schools. As far as schools like Oregon and Florida, I'm trying to get out there this summer. It's gonna be hard because plane tickets cost a lot, but I'm gonna try and get out there."
