Bilich Talks Cajun's Offer

Rummel High offensive lineman Dominick Bilich picked up his third offer from UL Monday after visiting the Cajun's camp last Friday, The "6-3", 285-pounder talked to the Cajun Redzone about his camp performance and offer.

This past Friday, Rummel High offensive lineman Dominick Bilich turned in a top performance in front of offensive line Coach Mitch Rodrigue. The big lineman from New Orleans talked to the Cajun Redzone about his camp performance.

"Overall,I thought that I had a good camp and performance," Bilich stated. "We worked on basics and some agility drills, then Coach Rodrigue put us together in the groups he wanted to work with. I really liked the facilities and the staff."

What did the staff say about his performance?

" I spoke to Coach Rebowe, who recruits my area and he said they really liked what I did in camp, and that Coach Hudspeth wanted to speak with me. I spoke with Coach Hudspeth later and he said that I had an offer and he wanted me to be part of the UL program."

In the 1-on-1 drills, who was the toughest matchup for you?

"I thought the defensive end from Shaw, Stephen Gibson was pretty tough and the lineman from Chalmette, Ruston Pritchard," Dominick stated. "I had to face them both again the next day at the Tulane camp. We open the season against Shaw, so I was able to get in some work against Gibson that will help me prepare for that game."

What is Dominick Bilich looking for in a college program?

"I want to sign with a college that wins, has good facilities and academics," said Bilich. "I hate to lose; last season was the first losing season for Rummel High in fifteen years and I hated it. So whether it's UL, Tulane or LSU, that is what I'm looking for in a college football program."

What is next for Bilich?

"I'm going to Southeastern's camp because they offered me and LSU camp in July," Dominick stated."I didn't get to spend but one day at LSU, so I'm going to attend the overnight camp."
