Friday Night Lights: Top 15

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Will Muschamp walked around the field scouting prospects all night. He had some talent inside his stadium and you can find out who stood out the most here.

Over 150 prospects attended Friday Night Lights at the University of Florida in 2011. Some of the best in 2012 and many top prospects in the class of 2013 participated and Scout names their top 10 here.

  • Paris Bostick - 6-0/205 - ATH - Tampa,Fla.-Plant - 2013
FNL Blurb: Bostick had a very good night at UF. He worked out at wide receiver and he was getting good separation all night. He showed good hands and good speed. He could be a running back, side receiver, or safety on the next level.

  • Greg Bryant - 5-10/190 - RB - Delray Beach, Fla.-American Heritage - 2013
FNL Blurb: Bryant is a very developed back physically, but he still has some wiggle. Where he shined the brightest at FNL was in the passing game. He got out of the backfield quickly and made many big catches down the field.

  • Stefon Diggs - 6-0/185 - ATH - Olney, Md.-Good Counsel - 2012
FNL Blurb: Diggs is a true athlete, a very good one. Scout ranks him as a safety, but he shined at wide receiver in Gainesville. He was just too fast for anyone to keep up with. He has very good hands too. He made adjustments on balls, he caught them in traffic, and he was getting good separation all night.

  • Tarean Folston - 5-10/185 - RB - Cocoa, Fla.-Cocoa - 2013
FNL Blurb: Folston had an outstanding night at UF from start to finish. He has very quick feet, he has great change of direction, and he has very good hands. Folston is bigger than most think and he'll be a highly recruited prospect.

  • Dante Fowler - 6-3/238 - DE - St. Petersburg, Fla.-Lakewood - 2012
FNL Blurb: Fowler came in as a five-star on Scout and he left as one as well. He did a great job of dipping his shoulder coming off the edge, getting under the offensive lineman, and exploding to the quarterback. He is someone that could make a very early impact on the next level.

  • Nigel Harris - 6-2/190 - Tampa, Fla.-Hillsborough - 2013
FNL Blurb: Harris is a fluid linebacker with good lateral movement and a long wingspan. He was outstanding during the drills and he was solid in coverage. He needs to add weight, but he has plenty of room for that.

  • Bucky Hodges - 6-5/200 - QB - Virginia Beach, Va.-Salem - 2013
FNL Blurb: Hodges is a big quarterback with size alone that will draw him attention. Moat quarterbacks his size have long and drawn out deliveries, but his compact and quick. He spun the ball well and had a strong night.

  • Denver Kirkland - 6-4/270 - OL - Miami, Fla.-Booker T. Washington - 2013
FNL Blurb: Kirkland was by far the top offensive lineman at FNL. He has a bright future ahead of him. He did a nice job in the 1on1s - He showed good feet, nice punch, and good balance. He did well against speed guys on the edge and bigger guys that went inside.

  • Paxton Lynch - 6-5/200 - QB - Deltona Beach, Fla.-Trinity Christian - 2012
FNL Blurb: This quarterback is flying under the radar. He has good size, he throws a good ball, and his mechanics were solid at FNL. He is not drawing a lot of attention and he should be. He has the size, arm, and ability to play Division I football.

  • Brice Ramsey - 6-3/200 - QB - Kingsland, Ga.-Camden County - 2013
FNL Blurb: Ramsey was the top quarterback performer at this event. He showed very good footwork in his drops, he showed some touch, and some arm strength. He received a lot of attention from the UF staff and again showed he could be one of the best at his position in 2013.

  • Serge Trezy - 6-0/195 - ATH - FNL Blurb: Trezy showed speed adn athleticism at FNL. He is someone that has a few offers from smaller schools, but he performed like he deserves much more attention. He worked at running back and wide receiver Friday night and he did well at both.

  • Kelvin Taylor - 5-9/210 - RB - Belle Glades, Fla.-Glades Day - 2013
FNL Blurb: Taylor looks like a college running back right now. He is very well put together, he is built low to the ground, and he is very strong. He showed great lateral movement throughout the drills and very quick feet.

  • Kent Taylor - 6-5/215 - Land O' Lakes, Fla.-Land O' Lakes - 2012
FNL Blurb: Taylor is the number one tight end in the country on Scout and he lived up to his ranking at this event. He has some of the best hands out there across the country. He made some good catches and some great catches. He is a fluid athlete that runs good routes too.

  • Demarcus Walker - 6-4/250 - DE - Jacksonville, Fla.-Sandalwood - 2013
FNL Blurb: Walker showed the ability to beat offensive linemen inside or outside in the 1on1 session at FNL. He is an athletic kid with good quickness off the ball. He is good at the point of attack and he is only going to get better as he develops more moves off the ball.

  • Nick Washington - 5-11/170 - DB - Jacksonville, Fla.-Trinity Christian - 2013
FNL Blurb: Washington could play corner or safety on the next level. He has the size to play either and he is a very physical player. He has active hands and he showed good closing speed at FNL.
