While Dunbar HS (OH) junior Jarrod Clements knows there is always room for improvement, the 6-foot-3, 255 pound defensive end prides himself on his pass rushing ability. That pass-rushing has gotten him attention from many schools, including his first offer from Toledo.
Toledo: "I went to their camp, and the Defensive line coach showed ma lot of love and said that they liked my performance. All of the coaches were nice and the Head Coach seemed like a really fun guy."
Another offer for Clements could be around the corner.
"I went to Tennessee's camp this summer and did well. They said they want to see my game film before they offer, so they will be looking closely at my first two games this season."
Other schools that have been in contact with him include Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati and Michigan State.
Clements spent the summer working out and attending camps all over the country. The junior is looking forward to showing how much he's improved since last season.
"This season I will be working on implementing the techniques that I learned from all of the camps that I attended this summer."
While the junior is hoping to commit not until sometime during his senior season, he has been keeping in mind what he's looking for in a school.
"I don't want it to be too far from home. Then I'll look at the academics and the football program. I'll also see where I am on the depth chart."
