More Interest in Warrick Sports is in the streets bringing you all of the coverage. We caught up recently with Cy Falls junior wide receiver Jacorey Warrick. He had a good showing this past weekend in a winning effort. He also has a few new updates in recruiting as well. Check out this update and see what the latest is.

As if coming off a big win this past weekend, Houston (TX) Cy Falls wide receiver Jacorey Warrick has more good news continuing to come in weekly. Saturday night his team defeated district rival Cy Woods 28-12. In addition to this, a Big 12 and an SEC program have been added to the list of programs seeking his services for the 2013 season.

"I started hearing more from Texas Tech recently. I got a hand written letter from the coaches this week," Warrick said.

With the Tech interest, now the 5-foot-10, 170-pound Warrick has a good number of the current Big 12 recruiting him with Texas, Baylor and Texas A&M on the list as well. He made a couple of camp stops this summer, including one trip that was mentioned in a recent update in Austin where he was clocked running a 4.4 40-yard and worked out on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

But for now, Warrick is making a name for himself as an offensive playmaker. In the recent win over Woods, Warrick caught six passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Continued performances like this one will likely bring in more interest.

"I have also been talking with Arkansas some too. The coaches invited me to some home games, but I'm not sure which ones I will be able to go to," Warrick said. "Right now, I would say that they (Hog coaches) are recruiting me the hardest at the moment."

Warrick is not sure when, or if, he will be able to get to Fayetteville, but does want to get out to Austin, Waco and College Station when time allows in his schedule.
