Florida LB says it felt like home

Patrick Jean is a standout linebacker prospect from Treasure Coast High and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Patrick Jean talked about the start to his senior season.

"Our team is looking pretty good so far. I'm doing better than last year I feel like. I had an interception in our game last week."

Jean, 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, committed to Louisville recently and talked about that.

"I chose Louisville because I wanted somewhere that would feel like home, plus I know a few players up there already."

Since his commitment, only Louisville has been recruiting him.

"No other college coaches are calling me. They know I'm committed. I'm not planning on taking visits to any other colleges."

Jean talked about his relationship with Louisville's coaches.

"I talk to Coach Hurtt, the defensive line coach. We have a really good relationship."

Inside the classroom Jean claims a 3.0 GPA and hasn't reported a test score yet.
