Shaker Heights HS (OH) junior De'Niro Laster is quickly becoming a player to keep your eye on. The 6-foot-2, 200 pound wide receiver already holds offers from Akron, Bowling Green and Temple, and recently added an offer from the ACC.
"Duke offered me. It was a surprise," said Laster. "I like that it's an academic school and that they are in the ACC. I don't really know a lot about the coaches yet. I'm interested in them and want to visit; I'm just not sure when yet."
The Blue Devils aren't the only ones that have become interested in Laster.
"Lately I've been hearing from Oregon, Wisconsin, Indiana, Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Texas and Virginia."
As for some of the schools that have begun to stand out to the junior:
"I really like Ohio State, Michigan, UCLA, Oregon, Wisconsin and West Virginia, but I don't have a favorite yet."
So far this season, Laster has 15 catches for 250 yards, one touchdown, 27 tackles , two sacks and one blocked punt.
