BCS Schools Coming for Brown

Warren Central (Ind.) junior offensive lineman Dwayne Brown is yet another BCS prospect at the school, and is set to start visiting some potential suitors.

Meet Dwayne Brown.

"I'm 6'4 1/2, 330-lbs, and I start at left tackle."

Not to mention he's part of one of the most talent filled rosters in the Midwest (if not the most) at Warren Central. With this being his first year at the school, Brown is just beginning to make a name for himself, but he has had a good season so far and the colleges are noticing.

"Well, I am going to the Kentucky-Florida game on Saturday," he reported, "and I've been getting letters from Iowa. I've got couple questionnaires from Georgia Tech and Penn State. The majority has been Penn State, Iowa, and Michigan State."

The connections at Warren have helped too, as one of his committed senior teammates has lent a hand in his recruiting process.

"My teammate Jordan Wallace is committed to Indiana and he talked to them about me and I think IU is going to try to get me to come there too for, I think, the Penn State game."

This weekend in Lexington will be an experience for Brown. It will be his first college game, and he will take the trip with several teammates.

"They invited me and a couple other guys in our 2013 class, Tre Moore, Jamaal Bridges and Tim Kimbrough."

Brown is hoping to increase his profile through the season, and hopefully begin adding offers. He got started on the camp circuit this past summer, something he will continue this year.

"I went to Tennessee's camp. It was good. We did 1-1s, and I didn't lose any or when we did pass pro. I didn't lose one. It was a good weekend. I was down there with Kimbrough and Sheldon Day."
