Rod Crayton talks SEC visit

Rod Crayton, defensive tackle from Dadeville, Ala., is one of the top juniors in the state. He was in Tuscaloosa Saturday for the Tide's game against the Razorbacks.

"I thought the game was good," said Rod Crayton. "I liked how the front played. I liked No. 99 [Josh] Chapman. He is a good player. I thought the front was on point. The secondary slipped up a few times, but they would make up for it. I think they have a good defense. It's somewhere I think I can fit in."

Crayton was also impressed with the turnout at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

"The crowd was loud," he said. "I liked it a lot. I really liked the atmosphere. It was real good."

"We got there a little late. We didn't get to talk to everyone like we usually do. I did talk to Kirby [Smart] after the game. He told me they are very interested in me. He said they heard about my offer from LSU. He is going to watch film on me soon."
