Jones is getting attention from both state schools and has received an offer from Kentucky. Jones has visited both in-state schools and will be making a return visit to one of them this weekend.

Some of the other schools that have been in contact with Jones and his coach include Georgia Tech, Georgia, Georgia Southern, and Middle Tennessee State.

Georgia Tech is the school that is showing Jones the most interest right now. "I have spoken with Coach (Paul) Johnson and Coach (Brian) Bohannon who is my recruiting coach there. Coach Johnson likes Jones and wants to see more film on Jones to evaluate him.

"Coach Bohannon has told me that I am next on the list of recruits at running back that would get an offer." Jones feels that Tech will offer once they get done with their evaluation. "Coach Bohannon is coming by my school this week to talk to my coach, so we will see what happens when he visits."

Georgia Tech A Backs Coach Lamar Owens that Jones could play either of the running back positions in the Tech offense. "I feel that being 5' 10" and 205 pounds I could play either position. I would prefer the A-back position but I wouldn't mind playing B-back either."

Jones visited Tech to watch their record breaking game against Kansas. "I really liked the offensive show they put on that day. It was awesome." Jones plans on going back this coming weekend to see them play Maryland. "I'd like to see another game like they put up against Kansas." Also look for Miles to return for the Georgia game.

Miles likes the way that Tech runs the ball and that they are very good at it. The fact that they are close to home and the education he could receive from Georgia Tech are also big factors in his eyes. "I really value my education and want to get a good degree from college and Georgia Tech is a school that will give you a very valuable degree."

Jones is not ready to name any favorites. "I am keeping my options open as I feel I will be getting more offers as my season goes along." Miles is looking for a school that shows him the same interest that he shows them. "I want to go to a school that wants me as a running back. And finally, I want the school to have a meaningful degree."
