Alabama commit Geno Smith is the one many talk about at St. Pius right now, but Nick Ruffin will be that guy the next two years. The 2014 athlete visited Tennessee Saturday and he talks about the visit here.
Nick Ruffin spent Saturday in Knoxville, Tn. visiting the University of Tennessee. The Vols have been showing early interest in the 6-foot-1, 170 pound sophomore out of Atlanta (Ga.) St. Pius X.
The 2014 athlete lied what he saw Saturday.
"Tennessee has die-hard fans and the atmosphere was unlike no other. The intensity was really amazing," said Ruffin.
"Something that stood out to me was the way Tennessee conducted themselves in such a professional manner. The players were very well prepared and I like how dedicate themselves to what they do and I now hold a high interest in them."
Ruffin has not received any news about offers from schools yet, but he is already drawing interest from a number schools including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Tennessee.
Scout expects him to be a top prospect in 2014 and he could be recruited to play wide receiver or defensive back.
